Not only do you have to make sure there are enough drinks in the house, and that everyone will have someone to talk to, but they’ll all need feeding throughout the night as well. Seafood Nachos

Spice up your regular nachos by adding in cooked crabmeat and prawns to the topping list. Not only is this one easy to make, but it’s also cost effective, as you can make a great deal for a very small price.

Smoked Salmon Tarts

Fill some tart shells with smoked salmon, cream, egg and mustard, and cook on high for 15 minutes. Serve straight from the oven as they’re delicious hot or cold!

Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

This one is exactly as it sounds, but that doesn’t make it any less appetising—the opposite in fact! Wrap slices of bacon round scallops and grill for three minutes on each side. Then throw them into a frying pan with some butter and oil and saute for another minute and you’re done!

Cod with Parma Ham

Wrap chunky pieces of cod in a slice of Parma ham, drizzle generously with oil and grill for 20-25 minutes. Simple, but extremely effective!
